From the hubs: Eight years ago in Feb, I decided to spend the rest of my life loving her. We were generally happy to be with each other. We worship God, parent our children, and maintain the household pretty well together. If marriage would simply be measured by these activities, I would say we were normal. However, deep within, we both long to enjoy our marriage, not simply doing things together – housemates can do that. We have been married for 8 years. My oldest son is already 5. Time flies. I can only vaguely remember our first fight after we got married. It was over a book. We ordered a book and it came in a mail. I was casually flipping the book, when the hubs cautioned me “Be careful not to open book too wide, the pages will fall out!”. I glared at him. Then when he took the book later, I said “be careful with the book, keep it from having dog ears!”. How a trivial matter could spark a fight, I can’t…
